Exactly a week ago from now, I was lying in the sand napping at Patar Beach in Bolinao. I was there for a formal pre-nup shoot and what a way to relax after a long tiring day than to just lay down lifeless in the sand, breeze of ocean air cooling my body, and the sound of waves gently crashing into the shore gives off a very soothing sound almost like a lullaby. It was my second time staying at Patar Beach in the span of four weeks and I was thinking I should do it more often. Almost everything I need to have a perfect weekend was there, cheap cottages to sleep in, convenience store for food and the quiet surroundings. But the things that seems to bother me is the rough sand and ocean floor. Hmmmm well given that it's still one of the better beaches in the country, lying in the rough sand made me remember Tambobong Beach.

The Hidden Paradise that is Tambobong |
Tambobong beach is a pristine shore line located at the town of Dasol also in Pangasinan. I went their summer of 2010 for my unit's summer outing. I can clearly remember that the sand their was so fine it was like powdered milk, really. The water is as clear as it can be and good thing was it was so serene and if not for the sand you'll mistake it for a swimming pool. I forgot how to get there by commute, but if you have an SUV, that'll do since getting there would be a bit difficult using a car, from the highway its an hour ride of dirt, dust, and bumps then up and down hills before you reach paradise, but I tell you, its all worth it :) . We stayed at my officemate's ancestral house since the place is not yet commercialized and there's only one resort that I know of (forgot the name but it was featured in Men's Health Magazine September 2010 issue). I'm planning to go back there this year, pack my food, fill my cooler, set up tent and enjoy everything for free :D , problem is I don't have an SUV, and commute is not an option since it'd be too costly to hire a whole jeepney, so right now I'm trying to find anyone who can let me borrow even just an owner-type jeep that I could use or if you're a really really a good person, a Fortuner, would be great? :D anyone?

wow!!! proud of home my hometown though i haven't been here. i travel solo most of the time kasi so like what you said, hiring a jeepney for myself might be too expensive.
